LEGAL PRACTICE 
Jayalakshmi joined 5 St James Court upon being called to the Mauritian Bar in September 2020. 

Jayalakshmi practices across a whole range of areas of law in line with Chambers profile. She has, since joining Chambers, regularly appeared before the District Courts, the Intermediate Court, the Industrial Court and the Supreme Court (Family Division). She accepts instructions as sole counsel for District and Intermediate Court matters.

Jayalakshmi is a member of the Honourable Society of Middle Temple and the Mauritius Bar Association.
